Splitter

The Splitter module handles image files. There is an ever increasing number of companies that receive PDF files containing images of documents to be treated together with attachments or publicity images. Even in the scanning phase, errors can be committed, images from different documents can be united, or unnecessary pages inserted. The ECS 2.0 system, based on the documents' characteristics, is capable of intercepting these errors in the acquisition stage and sending the file to the Splitting and Fixing module. Using a graphic station, the operator is able to manage a worklist, access the previews, and, should it be necessary, he may divide the file up into different documents, delete the pages or mark them as attachments. The flow management system will automatically take charge of redirecting the new document files to the necessary treatment: new filing, OCR, ODR, etc., reinserting and normalizing the entire operational flow.
